The Montessori Alzheimer Center is the Authorized Canadian Licensee of the Center for Applied Research in Dementia, offering intensive training in the Montessori Method for the Cognitively Impaired, as adapted by Cameron J. Camp, PhD. All of their training programs are available to groups and individuals across Canada, in both official languages. All training is reinforced with a complimentary follow-up Support Workshop.

Its mission is to improve communication, engagement and connection for people living with dementia and their care partners through education, resources and community activities.

The National Council of Dementia Minds is a not-for-profit organization led by persons living with dementia whose vision is to transform the worldview of living with a Neurocognitive Disorder. To achieve this vision, they develop and support Dementia Minds groups (persons living with dementia) who create opportunities for dialogue and education. Together we promote strategies to enhance our well-being and refute the misconceptions of living with dementia.
Senior Montessori is changing views of aging and offering Montessori training in supporting older adults with cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s disease, in order to develop independence, autonomy and social participation.

Validation Training Institute is a not for profit organization that advances knowledge, values, education and research rooted in the Validation Method. Its ultimate objective is to nurture respect, dignity and well being in the lives of older adults experiencing age related cognitive decline and their caregivers.
